We are searching for the best talent for Associate Warehouse Operator to be in Leiden.

Purpose:

Entry support individual contributor that completes routine tasks under close supervision, following a defined standard output or set of procedures. Provides assistance to internal teams within the Warehouse or WDS or Distribution department. Closely follows established administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables. Maintains high standards of professionalism, efficiency, personal communication, discretion, and independent judgment.


About Your Tasks and Responsibilities

As an Associate Warehouse Operator, you will:

  • Demonstrate Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo.
  • Be required to understand and comply with the Code of Business Conduct, Company policies and laws that govern their activities.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Employee must be able to do physical work
  • Conduct routine tasks for the support function of the Operations unit under direct supervision, and closely follows established administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
  • Develop working knowledge of standard operating procedures and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and procedures.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures to complete routine tasks under close supervision and team needs related to the processing of ingredients and/or pharmaceutical (new) products.
  • Document day-to-day activities and resources.
  • Adhere to standardized work and to the standard activity flowcharts.
  • Take ownership of personal training and ensure that all required training is understood and completed on time.
  • Learn process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to enhance safety, quality, reliability, cost, and scheduling.
  • Develop competency with routine activities under close supervision.


About Your Skills and Experience

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • An MBO-2 degree or at least 18 months’ work experience.
  • An A2 level in Dutch or English is required.
  • The level of computer proficiency is basic level for MS office.
  • Quality oriented and precise.
  • Safety mindset
  • Flexible and positive.
  • Ability to work on a shift roster.
