We are seeking to recruit a highly hardworking, motivated and ambitious individual to take the role of Clinical Team Lead - Electrophysiology for the Netherlands.
Role Purpose
The Clinical Team Lead plays a critical clinical leadership role in accelerating regional sales performance by driving adoption, utilization, and competitive positioning of CARTO® 3 and associated technologies. Acting as a force multiplier for the sales organization, this role bridges clinical excellence and sales execution, enabling the field team to win accounts, grow share, and deliver sustainable revenue growth.
About Your Tasks and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Sales Execution
- Partner closely with the Regional Sales Manager to drive regional sales performance, utilization growth, and achievement of business targets.
- Enable the field team to increase procedure volume and system utilization through targeted in‑field coaching, deal support, and opportunity-specific guidance.
- Spend ~60% of time in the field directly supporting clinical excellence : customer calls, joint visits, account strategy discussions, objection handling, and deal acceleration.
- Strengthen the clinical team’s commercial and clinical acumen, ensuring strong understanding of customer buying processes, value propositions, pricing dynamics, and competitive positioning.
- Support development and execution of regional business plans, translating strategy into clear clinical actions and measurable outcomes that will drive higher market share in the NL EP market.
- Monitor competitor activity and proactively equip the sales organization with competitive insights, counter‑strategies, and win themes.
- Represent the Netherlands on national and EMEA calls, ensuring rapid cascade of commercial priorities, sales messaging, and launch strategies to the field.
Clinical and Commercial Enablement & Training
- Lead deployment of EMEA sales and clinical training programs in the Netherlands, tailoring content to local market needs and sales priorities.
- Drive consistent clinical excellence standards, ensuring field teams demonstrate strong product positioning, value selling, and objection handling.
- Ensure new technologies are rapidly and effectively embedded into sales conversations, customer demos, and new hire onboarding post‑launch.
- Act as a key liaison with EMEA Sales Learning & Development and Marketing to ensure NL requirements are reflected in tools, messaging, and training materials.
KOLs, Strategic Accounts & Growth Initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, early adopters, and strategic accounts to accelerate New Product Introduction (NPI) success.
- Partner with BDMs, NTS, and Marketing to translate KOL insights into scalable commercial messaging and sales playbooks.
- Support strategic account planning by identifying growth opportunities, expansion pathways, and reference accounts.
- Ensure best‑in‑class clinical and commercial practices from NPI sites are systematically cascaded to the broader sales organization.
About Your Skills and Experience
Requirements:
- Proven high performer in Clinical settings, ideally from hospitals and Cath labs – Minimum of 10 years.
- Strong clinical mindset with demonstrated ability to influence outcomes, win competitive situations, and drive adoption.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident in customer-facing, formal, and executive-level settings.
- Demonstrated leadership through influence; people management capability or clear potential.
- Deep clinical expertise combined with understanding the EP field
- Strategic thinker with a growth mindset, strong planning discipline, and execution focus.
- Experience supporting or leading NPI launches in a complex, competitive market.
