About Your Next Job
Rapidemic is a diagnostic company based in Leiden with a mission to make accurate infectious disease diagnostics accessible to all, worldwide. We develop a revolutionary technology for remote diagnosis of infectious diseases with high unmet needs in the space of sexual, maternal and women’s health. Our first product under development is an ultrafast test for multiplex diagnosis of the highly prevalent STI’s, chlamydia and gonorrhea. In this role, you will own core accounting (oversight), cash management, and financial operations. You will build processes that scale, while being fully hands-on with the day-to-day. You’ll partner closely with R&D and product teams to translate scientific plans into budgets, track spend across programs, and manage burn and liquidity. This is a “mini CFO” role in a high-ambiguity, high-growth environment.
About Your Next Colleagues
In this position, you will be working closely with Rapidemic's management team (CEO, CBO and COO) to provide up-to-date reports and financial overviews. You will also be the contact point for the company's accountant.
