We are looking for a Head of Facilities to join our team!
We are looking for a technical manager to lead our Facilities team. This position reports directly to the Site Director. In addition to overseeing projects, budgets and planning, this role requires active involvement in day-to-day technical operations. There are currently 6 people in the team, which is in a build-up phase. As this is a small team, we are seeking someone who brings both managerial experience and strong technical expertise and is not afraid to get involved. About Your Tasks and Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the Facilities and IT team, including managerial responsibilities and workforce planning
- Manage all technical projects related to facilities, utilities and maintenance including budget
- Together with a team of specialist you will manage the successful installation, qualification and maintenance of class A and B environment in our new pilot facility
- Study, evaluate and plan accordingly to the daily reports submitted by the Facilities team
- Ensure the quality and maintenance of equipment, utilities and building (HVAC, water system, fire alarms, compressed air and gasses) production (filling lines, RABS, autoclave and washer), laboratory equipment and offices using your own technical expertise
- Responsible for timely qualification as per regulatory expectations in collaboration with Engineers and QA. Capable of reviewing and approving IOPQ documentation.
- Study, monitor and report on a monthly basis
- Guide and oversee maintenance and purchase of technology and equipment
- Responsible for functioning HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) committee to ensure a suitable working environment
- Collaborate and build strong relations with external parties and the global Delpharm network
- Frequent contact and annual monitoring of the vendors performances and provide feedback to maintain successful working relation
- Responsible for the safety and maintenance of the building in collaboration with our safety committee continuously improving our safety standards
- Responsible for replacement strategy plan
- Building CAPEX (Capital Expenditures) list together with other department heads
About Your Skills and Experience
We are looking for a Head of Facilities with the following profile
- BSc and 5+ years of Facilities Management in the pharmaceutical field
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and GMP requirements for sterile environments
- Experience with facility management
- Strong knowledge of utilities and equipment (HVAC, gasses, compressed air, water system etc.)
- Experience with laboratory equipment and environments
- Health, Safety and Environmental management
- A minimum working knowledge of Dutch is required.
