About Your Next Job
As a QA Officer, you play a key role in maintaining and improving our quality management system. You will work closely with colleagues across the organization, support audits, and ensure that all processes meet regulatory and internal standards. In this role, you report directly to the QA Manager and operate within the QA department.
As a QA Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving the quality management system in line with BaseClear’s quality standards. You ensure that registrations, e.g. CAPAs, change controls, deviations, complaints, audit findingsare handled accurately and efficiently in the eQMS, while keeping documentation complete, up to date, and audit-ready. You conduct internal audits according to the auditprogram. You support risk assessments, validationsand safeguard the controlled implementation of changes.
In addition, you act as a quality ambassador within the organization by training and advising colleagues on audits, deviations, complaints, and risk management, while staying up to date with relevant regulations. You actively support external audits and client inspections, contribute to CAPA plans together with the QA Manager, and provide input for reporting and trend analyses. Furthermore, you are also responsible for the QC release of reports, controls, and materials.
About Your Skills and Experience
To ensure a good match, we kindly ask that you only apply if you meet the following essential criteria:
- You have completed a BSc/ MSc in Microbiology, Molecular Biology or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a laboratory environment
- You have at least 2 years of experience as a QA Auditor
- You have working knowledge of ISO17025 and EU/US GMP standards regarding QC testing
- Experience with Zenya is considered an advantage
- You are fluent in English and Dutch (both written and spoken)
- You are based within 35 km from our Leiden office
