We are looking for a hands-on specialist to optimize warehouse and manufacturing operations using SAP S/4HANA and next‑generation Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
This role supports sites in Schiphol‑Rijks and Leiden and requires proficiency in English. We encourage collaborators who care about operational excellence and making an impact across teams!
About Your Tasks and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Be responsible for the SAP S/4HANA and WMS landscape for Manufacturing and Warehouse Operations on site, ensuring systems align with operational needs and drive reliable outcomes.
- Represent Manufacturing and Warehousing on the global implementation team for Project TranSCend, advocating for site needs and ensuring consistent deployment.
- Act as the Warehouse domain expert during WMS and inventory management process rollouts, guiding configuration and local adoption.
- Configure, implement, and maintain WMS functionality within the SAP S/4HANA solution to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to capture requirements, develop practical processes, and deliver solutions that meet business and regulatory needs.
- Provide ongoing support, solve, and training for warehouse and manufacturing teams; serve as the main contact to minimize operational disruption.
About Your Skills and Experience
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience as an SAP consultant or specialist with hands‑on WMS and inventory management experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in a GxP‑compliant industrial manufacturing environment, ideally in pharmaceutical manufacturing and warehousing.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, manufacturing processes, and logistics.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse, cross‑functional teams.
