Purpose
The Senior Manager Global Lentivirus Planning will join the Advanced Therapies Plan and Deliver team and will be closely connected with other functions, including Operations, Regulatory, Quality, and Value Chain Management. The selected candidate will lead a global team of managers and professionals across planning functions in the Lentivirus network (Sassenheim, Raritan and Bern). Lentivirus is an essential platform for both our commercialized CARVYKTI product (multiple myeloma) and our clinical asset, Prizlo-cel (large B-cell lymphoma). This position offers outstanding experience in the Advanced Therapies platform and excellent potential for further career growth.
About Your Tasks and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Global Lentivirus Planning Team of 10 people, responsible for Detailed Scheduling, Master Production Scheduling, Material Requirements Planning, Network and Scenario Planning
- Create and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, partner and collaborate with stakeholders to stay informed of network, product and regulatory developments to meet customer requirements
- Proactively identify constraints or potential issues and develop strategies for resolutions
- Be a trusted and active member of the Lentivirus Value Chain Team
- Lead, develop and implement simulations, reports and presentations to support management decisions
- Provide input to the Integrated Business Process (IBP) process, represent the Lentivirus Planning team in the monthly DSRM meeting
- Provide inventory projections and analyze actuals versus projections
- Active role in development of a novel Advanced Therapies Planning System
- Develop and maintain the team’s objectives, development plans, performance reviews and succession plans
- Drive continuous improvements, provide leadership and vision to further develop our supply chain maturity and deliver on the organization’s goal & objectives
About Your Skills and Experience
Qualifications
Education:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field is required
- An advanced degree in Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience is preferred
Experience:
- 8+ years of relevant Supply Chain experience
- Thorough knowledge in the areas of inventory management, supply planning, scenario analysis, sales and operations planning, and process excellence
- People management experience is required
- Experience in healthcare or similarly complex, regulatory-dependent sector is preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to build strong collaborative teams and relationships, lead and develop cross functional/ virtual teams
- Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different departments
- Customer focused. Results and performance driven
- Proven track record of process improvement and value creation
- Experience with planning systems such as SAP APO, SAP S4 Hana, OMP
