Position summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategy, Project Portfolio & Finance Manager for FM Belgium. Working closely with Project Delivery (PD) and cross‑functional stakeholders, the incumbent will drive the project portfolio process, operational improvements, support strategic planning, and deliver clear financial insight to enable informed decision making. This role will own financial reporting and cross‑charge processes, lead the Long‑Range Financial Plan (LRFP) process, and support continuous improvement and training across FM Belgium.
About Your Tasks and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and govern PMO processes across FM Belgium in close collaboration with Project Delivery and key stakeholders. Monitor portfolio performance, enforce governance, and proactively escalate risks and opportunities.
· Set up, facilitate and maintain a resource management tool to organize and forecast the resources for successful project implementations.
· Own financial reporting, budget reconciliations, and cross‑charge processes; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
· Lead the Long‑Range Financial Plan (LRFP) process: develop, align, and monitor long‑term scenarios and forecasts.
· Facilitate dashboard reviews and identify operational improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
· Provide actionable financial analysis and decision support to leadership and project teams.
· Own the contract management life cycle and implement standardized process for all MST’s and service providers.
· Maintain FM Belgium information on SharePoint, support communications, and lead people‑connect sessions.
· Coach, develop and motivate team members, support continuous improvement and training.
About Your Skills and Experience
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business administration, engineering, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost analysis, and financial modelling.
- Strong business analytics and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in data visualization; Power BI preferred.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Strong project management and structured planning capabilities.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, FPX).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coach teams and to drive operational change.
