Technical Operations at the Haarlem site handles all Capex Projects. This includes not only modifying existing installations but also designing, installing, and qualifying packaging lines or unique machines. Our team is involved in every stage of these projects, from initial planning and design to final implementation and validation, ensuring that each project meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
About Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- You will play a pivotal role in supporting major capital projects in Haarlem,
- focusing on project management and technology transfer for new products.
- Your primary responsibility will be project management, with an emphasis on
- overseeing one major project and potentially several smaller ones.
- As a project engineer, you will collaborate with both local and international
- teams, including our colleagues at the Wilson site in North Carolina.
- You will work closely with various stakeholders at the Haarlem site, such as the
- packaging department, technical associate directors, business development
- specialists, and packaging engineers.
About Your Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Packaging, Mechanical, or related field).
5+ years in packaging engineering or related roles, ideally in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device sectors. Relevant capital project experience in pharma, food, or chemical also considered.
Knowledge of packaging equipment, processes, technologies, and strong problem-solving skills.
Project management and risk assessment competency.
Proficient in Dutch (highly preferred) and English.
Cross-functional and international team experience.
