About Your Next Job
As Senior Scientist Analytical Science, you will take full responsibility for SeraNovo’s analytical activities. You will be focused primarily on the stability testing of novel formulations under ICH-compliant conditions, using UPLC-MS and other core analytical methods.
You will play a central role in organising, planning, executing, and interpreting analytical studies, ensuring that all work meets the highest scientific and quality standards. Approximately half of your time will be spent hands-on in the laboratory, with the remainder focused on data review, project planning, and coordination with formulation scientists.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced analytical chemist to shape and lead the analytical function within a growing company, combining scientific depth with practical ownership and autonomy.

We are a small, highly capable team that thrives on innovation, scientific excellence, and practical execution. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an Senior Scientist Analytical Science to strengthen our technical operations and oversee our stability and analytical programs.
About Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate SeraNovo’s analytical and stability programs
- Design, execute, and review stability studies under ICH-compatible conditions
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot UPLC-MS and related analytical instrumentation
- Manage analytical data, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with internal quality systems
- Collaborate closely with formulation scientists to support pre-formulation and stability evaluations
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior analytical team members
- Implement improvements in analytical workflows, documentation, and reporting
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, coordinating service and maintenance when needed
- Support client projects through clear and scientifically rigorous data analysis and presentation
About Your Skills and Experience
- PhD or MSc in Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or a closely related field
- 5+ years of experience in analytical development or stability testing within the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong hands-on experience with UPLC/LC-MS operation, troubleshooting, and method execution
- Experience designing and interpreting stability studies under ICH guidelines
- Strong organisational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects and team outcomes
