Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson, and Legend Biotech USA Inc., have entered a global, strategic collaboration to develop, manufacture, and commercialize a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy. This innovative strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of two companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy CAR-T platform and investigational treatment.
CAR-T is an advanced therapy that uses the patient's own immune system to fight the disease. The patient's T-cells are genetically modified to eliminate cancer cells. This cutting-edge, innovative technology offers a hopeful outlook to patients for whom other therapies have no or insufficient effect.
Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Supply Chain Planner CAR-T, located in Beerse, Belgium. This dynamic role is a member of the Advanced Therapies Supply Chain and will be heavily involved in the scaling of our EU CAR-T facilities and maturing of our planning & logistic processes.
About Your Tasks and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end material flows and manage logistic operations across CAR-T sites
- Orchestrate and partner with different supply chain functions to mitigate supply constraints, implement process improvements and manage complexities
- Support and/or lead E2E planning and logistic projects
- Act as external planning lead, ensuring material availability, providing forecasts and reviewing supplier performance
- Act as the material logistics business lead, partnering with IT to develop and deploy system solutions that support new material flows and improve operational efficiency
- Support digital capability building to make the planning process more automated, efficient, and robust.

About Your Skills and Experience
Qualifications
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, preferably with a focus in Engineering or Supply Chain
Required:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a relevant supply chain field (eg. planning, logistics)
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work across organizational boundaries through influence and partnership
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize and present complex information
- Ability to work in ambiguous and changing environment
- Flexible to work on different things that need to get done
Preferred:
- Experience in Planning/Scheduling processes (incl. SAP)
- Experience in Project management
- Affinity with digital tools (PowerBI, Alteryx, ..)
- Supply Chain or Six Sigma Certification (e.g. APICS, Green Belt, ...)
