Position Summary:

The Site Project Execution, (PEX) Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing on-site project execution for the site to ensure safety, schedule adherence, budget control, quality, and stakeholder alignment. This role leads site teams, and technical resources to execute Programs/Projects from design through commissioning and handover.


About Your Tasks and Responsibilities

Main duties and responsibilities:

· Reports to Site Engineering Lead

· Lead a GET Site Technical function of 20+ personnel plus alliance partnerships with external resources to deliver best in class Business Results, annual CapEx Portfolio of ~$100 MM USD and Expense $5- 20 MM USD based on site annual Business Plan and Long-Range Financial Plan Targets

· Develop and lead best in class Project Execution including benchmarking, working with global engineering to develop/support programs to drive the acceleration to ‘top quartile’ performance and sustain

Strategy

  • · Providing strategic and technical leadership to deliver the Capital Portfolio through design, installation, commissioning & qualification stage gate
  • Overall accountability for the Site Asset Master Planning Process (SAMP) and site Portfolio


Leadership

  • Provide Strategic Vision and Technical Leadership for Project Execution on-site
  • Provides input at the site/global talent discussion; provides support to other sites or program/project, if needed

Technical

· Effective Portfolio Management and program/project execution on-site

· Lead the site Portfolio Planning Process (PPM) and resource management activities. Identifies, defines, and directs execution of programs/projects driving innovative solutions and improvement for business units and the site as a whole

· The Site lead will oversee the adherence of best practices and processes as adopted across the Supply Chain (FPX, Lean, C&Q, knowledge management, etc.)

Innovation

  • Responsibility for driving best practice, Innovation and Continuous Improvement
  • Promotes innovation initiatives for new products and ideation
  • Develops internal and external expertise to drive innovative solutions

Quality, HSE, Compliance & Sustainability

· Responsible for Construction Safety on-site for GET related programs/projects where safety is paramount for our employees and contractors working on-site

· Responsible for enacting EHS&S policies and procedures on site

  • Ensure departmental and company compliance with all local government and company regulations, policies and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance

Organization & Talent Development

  • Lead the development of internal talent and capabilities that will ensure the GET team have the right level of capabilities to meet the current and emerging requirements for the CapEX portfolio
  • Management of the PEX team through effective performance management processes, key talent development & strategic guidance and direction
  • Leading the development of an exciting & engaging “One Team” Culture across the PEX Teams in line with Credo principles
  • Prioritize Tech Ops leadership and talent development with a focus on strengthening core capability and developing next generation
  • Develop a culture of fast paced innovation and foster an environment where people’s potential can be realized
  • Recruit, develop, manage, and motivate highly trained technical professionals to meet the strategic needs of the business
  • Champion Diversity and Inclusion

Collaboration

· Ensuring an effective and proactive support model in place for the Business Unit Leadership teams

· Work with Global Engineering Technology and Engineering and Property Services for major capital investments

Forge collaboration and negotiate critical issues with internal and external stakeholders.



About Your Skills and Experience

Education and Experience:

Essential

  • Master level degree or equivalent in engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years Leadership and Delivery experience
  • 5+ Years of Proven experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP regulated manufacturing environment
  • English language is necessary, Dutch is preferred

Preferred

  • Chartered/Professional Engineer/PMI-PMP
