Internship: Strategic Operations & Client Project Management (6 months)
At Fooditive, we build next-generation food ingredients using biotechnology and a global partner network. This internship is for someone who wants to learn how execution works in a fast-moving deep-tech environment — where timelines matter, partners deliver, and projects must move forward.
You’ll learn how to turn complex R&D progress into structured updates, track risks, and build the professional habits that make people trusted: clarity, follow-through, and confident communication.
About Your Next Colleagues
You’ll work closely with a dynamic team across R&D, Operations, and Business Development, in our Rotterdam office.

You’ll be guided by experienced professionals and learn how to communicate across both scientific and business teams while building real responsibility in live client and partner projects.
About Your Tasks and Responsibilities
In this internship, you will support project execution by helping the team stay aligned, structured, and on time. Your responsibilities include:
Maintaining project trackers (“source of truth” for actions, owners, deadlines, and dependencies)
- Preparing agendas, meeting notes, and action lists
- Following up with partners and clients until open items are closed
- Flagging operational or technical risks early and proposing next steps
- Ensuring timelines stay on track — and no deadline passes silently
- Escalating stuck items internally with clear summaries: what’s blocked, why, and what can be done
About Your Skills and Experience
You are structured, proactive, and confident in communication. You enjoy turning chaos into clarity and making progress visible.
You are also comfortable working in a deep-tech environment where R&D progress drives business delivery.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Clear written communication (emails, summaries, action lists)
- High ownership: you take initiative and propose solutions
- Confidence to be direct and professional with partners and senior stakeholders
- Ability to track multiple timelines and prioritize
- Curiosity for science and the ability to understand basic R&D concepts (preferred)

- You are currently living in the Netherlands
- You are an EU citizen OR hold a valid Dutch residence permit (student or zoekjaar) for the full 6 months
- You can work office-based in Rotterdam
-You are available to start in February 2026 for 6 months
- You are enrolled in (or recently finished) a degree in:
Food Tech / Biotech / Chemistry / Life Sciences (preferred)
or
Business / International Business / Supply Chain (with strong interest in science & tech)
