About Your Next Job

We are searching for the best talent for the Associate NPI Specialist to be based in Leiden.

You will join a hands-on Operations team supporting the introduction, maintenance, and handover of New Product Introductions (NPIs). In this role you will help ensure operational readiness, support engineers and operators during rollouts, and keep process documentation and training up to date — working collaboratively to deliver safe, compliant, and reliable production outcomes! This role requires Dutch A2 and English B1 and may require working outside normal office hours.

About Your Tasks and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Own operational readiness for NPI campaigns, coordinating activities to ensure smooth, flawless execution and handover.
  • Review, update, and maintain SOPs, Work Instructions, and related documentation to keep processes clear and compliant.
  • Partner with engineers to implement NPIs and new technologies, ensuring smooth integration and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Design and deliver training and supporting materials so team members are prepared and confident with new processes.
  • Support operators during NPI execution by providing guidance, troubleshooting disturbances, and reinforcing GMP and safety standards.
  • Communicate NPI status and progress to the operations team, record process improvements, and manage milestones to improve quality, reliability, cost, and scheduling.

About Your Skills and Experience

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Relevant MBO-3 degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Dutch A2 and English B1 language proficiency.
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office, basic skills in data analysis, and specialist-level use of business applications.
  • Working knowledge of SOPs and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and a commitment to following the Code of Business Conduct and company policies.
  • Proactive, organized, decisive, stress-resistant, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to work independently and collaboratively, and available to work outside office hours when needed.
