About Your Next Job

Job Overview

The Director of HCC Data Management & Technology Operations is a strategic leadership role within the global Health Care Compliance (HCC) organization. This position provides global oversight and strategic direction for compliance data management and technology initiatives, enabling the effective execution of the company’s compliance framework and program worldwide. The Director drives innovation in compliance systems and analytics, ensuring that quality data, advanced analytics, and modern technology solutions support critical compliance activities such as global transparency reporting, anti-corruption monitoring (e.g. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act FCPA), third-party risk management, and other key compliance processes. As a senior member of the HCC leadership team, this role has a broad global scope, requiring close collaboration across regions and functions to maintain consistent, efficient, and proactive compliance program operations. The Director’s work is pivotal to strengthening the compliance program’s data-driven insights, enhancing risk detection capabilities, and embedding compliance controls into enterprise systems from a “compliance by design” perspective.

This role reports to the Senior Director HCC Risk Mgmt Strategy & Enablement.

About Your Tasks and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide global leadership and oversight for HCC data management and technology operations, driving operational excellence and consistent execution of the company’s compliance program across all sectors and regions. This includes modernizing compliance data systems and analytics capabilities to enhance risk management, ensure timely and accurate compliance reporting, and support proactive monitoring of compliance risks across the enterprise.
  • Support global transparency reporting and disclosures to meet diverse reporting requirements. Partner with the Transparency Reporting team to maintain a high standard of data quality and compliance in all submissions.
  • Lead the sourcing, governance, and quality management of compliance-related data (e.g. transactional data on healthcare professional engagements, third-party intermediary data, financial transactions), establishing robust data governance frameworks and controls. Ensure complete, accurate, and secure data is available for compliance monitoring, risk assessments, and audits, in alignment with privacy regulations and internal data protection standards.
  • Enable effective monitoring of potential FCPA and other anti-corruption risks by leveraging data analytics and automated controls. Develop and lead data analytics capabilities and advanced analytics initiatives to identify, monitor, and predict potential indicators of bribery, kickbacks, or compliance control gaps. Utilize data science and predictive analytics to detect emerging compliance risks and support timely remediation efforts globally.
  • Lead the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of compliance technology tools that support key HCC program processes. These include platforms and systems for risk assessment & issue management (i.e., RAMI), Fair Market Value (FMV) calculation tools, Cross-Border Interactions (CBI) management, etc. Evaluate current tools and processes, driving Operational Excellence through standardization, enhancement, or decommissioning of systems as needed to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Compliance by Design & Integration: Embed compliance controls and data requirements into enterprise systems and business processes by partnering with IT and business technology teams. Ensure new corporate systems and process designs incorporate “compliance by design” principles, integrating HCC controls into transaction management, risk management (e.g., integrated risk management systems), and other enterprise platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key liaison across multiple functions to advance HCC program objectives through data and technology. Partner closely with global and regional HCC leaders, the Legal department, Information Technology (IT), Privacy office, and across functions to align compliance data and technology initiatives with overall corporate compliance strategy and regulatory requirements. Facilitate cross-sector and cross-regional collaboration to ensure consistent adoption of compliance tools and practices across the organization.
  • Build and manage a high-performing global team of professionals responsible for HCC data management and technology operations. Set clear vision and objectives for the team, ensuring alignment with HCC’s strategic priorities. Foster a culture of innovation, simplification, accountability, and continuous improvement, providing coaching and development to team members.
  • Manage resource allocation and budgets effectively to support the compliance program’s needs across regions.
