About Your Next Colleagues

As our new Financial Analyst Intern, you will be an active part of our Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Biologics finance team. You will dive right into real-world financial closing, data analysis, and reporting. This role provides you with valuable learning opportunities where your fresh ideas and creativity are highly encouraged. From analyzing budgets to working on modern tools, you will gain hands-on experience that matters.


About Your Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Support critical quarter close activities, including Forecast vs. Actual analysis.
  • Prepare engaging business presentations for budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Take on ad-hoc business case analyses to support various departments.
  • Assist in managing master data by creating and reviewing profit centers and cost centers.
  • Work on exciting process improvement projects utilizing Business Intelligence.
  • Conduct detailed headcount analyses and assist with daily reporting activities.

About Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for a financial analytical thinker who enjoys diving into numbers and data. You are naturally curious, proactive, and possess great communication skills to share your ideas creatively. If you are a diligent student who wants to develop your financial knowledge and skills, then you are exactly who we are looking for!

  • You are a student enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • You have strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • You are experienced in Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You are looking for an internship starting in September 2026. Earlier start is possible.
  • You live in The Netherlands, close to Leiden.
