Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Mid Sized Markets CommEx Lead, located in, Belgium, or Sweden, or Netherlands, or Austria.

Manages a team of individual contributors and/or Supervisors, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management. Coordinates the implementation of a comprehensive strategy that aims to improve sales team capabilities by installing industry-leading sales systems, pipeline management software, and performance dashboards that accelerate sales growth and streamline sales processes. Controls initiatives associated with the ongoing learning, training, and development of the sales function and drives the continuous improvement of sales force effectiveness by administering sales tools, territorial quotas, and commission incentives.


About Your Tasks and Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Manages a team of individual contributors and/or Supervisors, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management.
  • Develops tactical and operational plans for implementing strategic initiatives that aim to improve sales force effectiveness by establishing sales quotas, monitoring sales reports, and defining departmental objectives that motivate and incentivize sales team members.
  • Responsible for country/cluster Commercial Excellence activities including Sales Force Effectiveness and Business Intelligence analytics & insights
  • Responsible for deploying local sales force Incentive Scheme governance aligned to commercial leadership sales objective and overseeing local commex specialists responsible for incentive scheme administration including sales team payout calculations adhering to local labor law regulations and compliance controls.
  • Coordinates training programs that support continuous departmental improvement and address educational gaps and under-developed sales capabilities identified during routine trend, performance, and pipeline analysis and the evaluation of sales reports.
  • Defines key performance indicators to measure, monitor, and track the performance of strategic sales initiatives and sales force effectiveness.
    Benchmarks customer retention costs, sales velocity, lifetime value and sales quotas against competitors and industry leading standards.
  • Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and budgets.
  • Integrates Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.
