About Your Tasks and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities 

  • Perform in vitro efficacy screenings forex vivo LV gene therapy treatments and support in vivo sample analyses. 

  • Plan and execute practical lab work, perform data analysis, including communication of work and results. 

  • Document experiments andmaintain detailed lab records in an electronic lab book. Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols. 

  • Participation in laboratory maintenance and support tasks. 

  • Recognize day-to-day problems and accept solutions based on standard (and novel) procedures. 

  • Present experimental design & results in group meetings. 


About Your Skills and Experience

Qualifications & skills 

  • HLO/HBO/BSc or MSc, in a Life Sciences-related field (biological/medical sciences).  

  • Hands-on experience with aseptic cell culture techniques. Experience with flowcytometry (FACS) is a plus. 

  • Experience in molecular biology techniques, including DNA/RNA extraction,(q)PCR, dPCR, cloning, and gel electrophoresis.  

  • Hands-on experience with biochemical analyses (e.g. protein electrophoresis, western blotting, ELISA). 

  • Experience in viral vector gene therapy is a plus.  

  • Experience in assay development and troubleshooting is a plus. 

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues productively in a fast-paced and demanding environment. 

  • Written and spoken fluency in English.
