About Your Tasks and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
Perform in vitro efficacy screenings forex vivo LV gene therapy treatments and support in vivo sample analyses.
Plan and execute practical lab work, perform data analysis, including communication of work and results.
Document experiments andmaintain detailed lab records in an electronic lab book. Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols.
Participation in laboratory maintenance and support tasks.
Recognize day-to-day problems and accept solutions based on standard (and novel) procedures.
Present experimental design & results in group meetings.
About Your Skills and Experience
Qualifications & skills
HLO/HBO/BSc or MSc, in a Life Sciences-related field (biological/medical sciences).
Hands-on experience with aseptic cell culture techniques. Experience with flowcytometry (FACS) is a plus.
Experience in molecular biology techniques, including DNA/RNA extraction,(q)PCR, dPCR, cloning, and gel electrophoresis.
Hands-on experience with biochemical analyses (e.g. protein electrophoresis, western blotting, ELISA).
Experience in viral vector gene therapy is a plus.
Experience in assay development and troubleshooting is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues productively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Written and spoken fluency in English.
