Executive summary of the role:

As a Sales Consultant Oncology at J&J, you will play a pivotal role in driving business performance and expanding market share for our stapling and energy products. Your mission is to create demand among clinical stakeholders, turning them into enthusiastic advocates for our products and our brand. You will be part of the Sales Team in the Southern part of NL, collaborating with 5 fellow sales consultants (Oncology, Obesity, Wound Closure), a product manager, business development managers, and a sales manager. Your contribution will be instrumental in driving success in this dynamic and evolving field.


About Your Tasks and Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities: Sales consultant Biosurgery

  • Sell innovative medical products to existing and new customers to grow the business on the territory
  • Customer-centric approach, understanding their needs, and building strong relationships to deliver sustained value and support to our customers
  • Gain market insights and use them set up new innovative solutions to enable sales growth
  • Define specific projects within Value Based Selling as part of the overall account plan that will lead to customer acquisition. Value-driven care is one of the pillars within healthcare in the Netherlands. J&J is therefore looking for people who can not only sell the product but also the added value
  • Facilitating in hospital trainings to surgeons, specialists, nurses, and operating theater management through hands-on sessions to increase product knowledge and to enhance understanding to use our products for the right bleedings at the right time
  • Offering specialized guidance and expert advice on the optimal use of our products in various surgical procedures
  • Generating sales analyses and proactively adapt plans to enhance overall sales performance
  • Communicating product value by using evidence
  • Join congresses, user meetings and events that improve the understanding of our offer


About Your Skills and Experience

Experience/ educational level degree:
Master’s degree or equivalent, demonstrated through relevant work experience



Qualifications

Required:

  • At least >3 years of experience in hospital sales
  • Self-starter who works independently, takes the lead in identifying opportunities and connects easily with a diversity of stakeholders
  • Driven by results, excellence, and a passion for business accomplishments
  • Master’s degree or equivalent, demonstrated through relevant work experience
  • Native speaking Dutch and fluent in English both written and speaking
  • Driving license category B
  • Living in the southern Netherlands region

Preferred:

  • Knowledge and relations in the surgery oncology field
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Dutch healthcare system
  • Experience in working on the OR
