About Your Next Job
The Sales Representative will focus on identifying, qualifying, and converting new business opportunities. This is a front-line, execution-focused role responsible for lead generation, progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline, closing deals, and managing customer accounts post-sale.
You will be a key external-facing representative of Nourish Ingredients, working closely with technical, operations, and leadership teams to ensure customers are successfully onboarded and supported.
About Your Tasks and Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with food manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, and strategic partners.
- Proactively generate leads through outbound outreach, inbound inquiries, and industry networking.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from initial contact to deal close.
- Conduct customer meetings and presentations, articulating product value and use cases.
- Coordinate product samples, trials, and technical discussions with internal teams.
- Prepare proposals, pricing, and commercial agreements in collaboration with leadership.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers after contract signature.
- Support onboarding and ongoing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Identify opportunities for account expansion and long-term collaboration.
- Gather customer feedback and relay insights internally.
- Stay close to customers and market activity to identify emerging opportunities.
- Represent Nourish Ingredients at relevant trade shows and industry events.
About Your Skills and Experience
What you'll bring
- Experience in business development, sales, or customer-facing roles, ideally within food ingredients, food tech, biotech, or fermentation.
- Proven ability to generate leads and close deals.
- Comfortable managing a hands-on, end-to-end sales process.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.
- Practical, execution-focused mindset suited to a startup or scale-up environment.
- Experience using CRM tools and managing sales pipelines.Willingness to travel as needed.
- Fluent business level English required.
