As Scientific Demand Generation Manager, you are responsible for building and executing digital marketing programs that generate qualified leads and strengthen the top of the commercial funnel. You and your team will translate complex scientific and technical offerings into effective campaigns, clear messaging, and high-converting digital experiences that support pipeline growth.
You work at the intersection of marketing, science, and sales, partnering
closely with scientists, account managers, business development, and
leadership. This is a hands-on standalone role with clear ownership of campaign
execution, website optimization, lead generation, and marketing performance
tracking.
Scientific content creation will be supported by external
copywriters/freelancers and interns. Your role is to ensure that content,
campaigns, and digital assets are commercially relevant, scientifically
accurate, well targeted, and effective in generating demand.
About Your Tasks and Responsibilities
In this
role, you develop and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns
tailored to key target audiences and stakeholders within biotech and pharma.
You work in a group to define ideal customer profiles, support buyer journey
mapping, and help shape messaging for core service areas, including sequencing,
regulatory support, GMP/GxP-related services, and other strategic commercial
priorities. You coordinate campaigns across channels such as LinkedIn, email,
webinars, and landing pages, ensuring strong alignment with business goals and
sales priorities.
You are responsible for managing organic and paid campaigns, including audience
targeting, campaign setup, A/B testing, and ongoing optimization. You also
build and improve landing pages and website content using tools such as
WordPress and Elementor, with a strong focus on conversion performance, user
experience, and SEO fundamentals.
You own email marketing execution and automation workflows, including nurture
campaigns, segmentation, lead capture, and lifecycle communication. You
coordinate webinar promotion and follow-up with internal experts and commercial
teams to ensure engagement is translated into measurable pipeline activity.
You track and report performance across campaigns and channels, including key
metrics such as MQLs, SQLs, CPL, conversion rates, website traffic, campaign
attribution, and funnel performance. You identify what is working, what is not,
and where to improve.
You also
support account-based and territory-based marketing initiatives in close
partnership with the commercial team, and will manage any interns, freelancers
and external partners to support your job functions.
About Your Skills and Experience
To ensure a good match, we kindly ask that you only apply if you meet the following essential criteria:

Master’s degree
strongly preferred in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology,
Microbiology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related scientific field
·
Candidates with a
Bachelor’s degree will only be considered if they bring proven B2B demand
generation experience in CRO, CDMO, genomics, diagnostics, or another highly
technical life sciences environment
·
3+ years of experience
in B2B demand generation, digital marketing, or growth marketing within life
sciences, biotech, CRO, CDMO, diagnostics, or related sectors
· Strong understanding of how to market to stakeholders such as QC, Procurement, R&D, and scientific decision makers in biotech and pharma.
·
Hands-on experience
with LinkedIn campaigns (organic and paid)
·
Experience building
and optimizing landing pages and website content using WordPress, Elementor, or
similar tools
·
Experience with email
marketing and automation platforms such as Mailchimp, Apsis, HubSpot, Apollo or
similar
·
Experience with Google
Analytics 4, campaign tracking, and performance reporting
·
Strong organizational
skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns, stakeholders, and external
content support at once
·
Proven team leadership
experience with a proactive, hands on, and commercially driven mindset;
confident working independently and building from the ground up
· Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with scientists, commercial teams, and leadership
It is considered a plus if you have experience with/ understanding of:
· Genomics, microbiology, vaccine development, cell and gene therapy or relevant life sciences services
· Webinars, CRM systems, lead scoring, ABM, and campaign attribution
· SEO and conversion rate optimization
