We are searching for the best talent for Senior Logistics Process Engineer to be based in Schiphol.
We’re hiring a hands-on Senior Logistics Process Engineer to own and improve warehousing and weigh & dispense processes in our central Schiphol‑Rijk site. You’ll work closely with operations, engineering, and management to keep processes efficient, compliant, and aligned with production goals — driving measurable improvements that protect product quality and reduce downtime!
This role supports the Operations unit and requires regular presence on the shopfloor and clear communication with internal and external stakeholders. English at B2 level is required.
About Your Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Senior Logistics Process Engineer, you will:
- Own and improve warehouse and weigh & dispense processes to ensure efficient, compliant day-to-day operations.
- Lead process introductions, hand-overs, and on-floor implementation in close partnership with operations and management.
- Monitor processes against GMP/GDP and regulatory limits, and act quickly to protect product quality and minimize downtime.
- Translate technical transfer requirements into operational procedures, including SOPs, work instructions, and master batch records.
- Lead CAPA, non‑conformance investigations and change control activities to resolve root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Plan and oversee acceptance testing and implementation of processes and equipment, ensuring smooth handover to operations.
- Conduct Gemba walks and use data-driven trend analysis to identify and deliver continuous improvements in safety, quality, reliability, cost, and scheduling.
- Act as domain expert during audits and issues, supporting multi-functional resolution and regulatory interactions.
About Your Skills and Experience
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Relevant HBO degree with at least 5 years of applicable experience in warehouse, distribution, or production process roles.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is required.
- Proficient with MS Office (intermediate), strong data analysis skills, experience with business applications, and knowledge of SAP or similar ERP.
- Proven track record improving warehousing or production processes, including weigh & dispense or similar operations.
- Solid understanding of GMP, GDP, and validated process controls to operate within regulatory limits.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills: use data to find root causes, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions.
- An effective communicator and collaborator who builds strong relationships with stakeholders; fluent in English is required.
- Organized, resilient, and proactive with high attention to accuracy and quality; able to work independently and lead team initiatives.
