We’re seeking a hands-on Electromechanical Technician to test, service, and repair complex medical devices that integrate electronics, mechanics, and robotic subsystems. If you enjoy bench diagnostics, precision assembly, and collaborative problem-solving in a structured, fast-paced environment, this role is for you.
Purpose: In this role, you’re the link between technology and patient safety. You’ll ensure devices used in hospitals and clinics worldwide perform reliably and consistently. You’ll work in a structured yet dynamic setting where quality, precision, and teamwork are paramount. Flexible start times: begin your day between 07:30 and 08:30 - whichever suits you best.
About Your Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Medical Device Technician, you will:
- Perform pre- and post-repair tests on medical devices using defined procedures, fixtures, and test equipment.
- Troubleshoot electronic, mechanical, and robotic system issues to module level; identify root cause and implement corrective actions.
- Disassemble and assemble devices with precision, following torque specifications, ESD and safety protocols, and workmanship standards.
- Accurately document findings, test results, parts usage, and device history in Salesforce and relevant quality/maintenance systems.
- Manage spare parts: request, track, and reconcile inventory used during repair and preventive maintenance.
- Adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP), EHS/ESD requirements, and applicable quality system procedures.
About Your Skills and Experience
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Technical background (e.g., electromechanics, mechanical/electrical engineering, mechatronics, or technician/apprenticeship).
- Experience with bench diagnostics and repair of electro-mechanical systems.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and reliability in following standardized work.
- Effective communicator; collaborative and comfortable in a structured, fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal). Dutch is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is an advantage.
