Technician

MIMETAS is looking for a part-time Technician (basic cell culture, laboratory logistics and inventory) to support daily laboratory operations at  for its facilities in Leiden, the Netherlands.

Your tasks will include

·        Managing the maintenance of the tissue culture laboratory equipment;

·        Maintaining the stock levels of the tissue culture laboratories;

·        Responsible for clean laboratories and equipment;

·        Managing the logistics of the tissue culture laboratories;

·        Actively working on safety in the laboratories.

Your profile

·        You have a degree in Biotechnology or Life Sciences, Laboratory Technology or a related field (MLO/HLO);

·        You are experienced in managing laboratory facilities;

·        You enjoy communicating with both colleagues and suppliers;

·        You can efficiently plan multiple tasks, set priorities, and manage time restraints;

·        Experience with GLP and QC is an advantage;

·        Experience with tissue culture is an advantage;

·        Motivated, flexible and positive work attitude;

·        Proficiency in the English language;

·        Proficiency of the Dutch language is a plus.
